Our story

Two people, one truck, since 2020

Mike and Amy started Minuteman in the middle of the pandemic for a simple reason: nobody wanted to sit in a shop waiting room to get a car fixed. So they brought the shop to the driveway instead.

It is still just the two of them. Mike does the work, Amy answers the phone, and the person you talk to is the person who shows up. Mike reads and replies to every review himself.

They run Minuteman as a mission-minded operation: what they make beyond keeping the truck running goes back into community outreach and partner churches around Lexington.
